I haven’t actually stayed there, but a friend did when they were offering a Grand Opening special that was too good to resist. According to him, the room was wonderful and the view even better. The interesting thing about my friend’s review was that he stayed at the Serendipity Beach Resort before new management stepped in and made changes that seem to have put an end to some of the hotel’s early poor reviews. It’s common now to read comments about the cleanliness of the pool (“the most wonderful pool I have found in Cambodia”), the level of service and the room appointments – especially the spacious, modern bathrooms.
